Prof. Dr. Michael Erlhoff took his degree in German literature and sociology, and also gained his PhD in the same discipline. In cooperation with Prof. Dr. Uta Brandes he published the magazine ”zweitschrift” and was member of the ”documenta 8” advisory committee. 1991 he was founding dean of the design school, today operating as ”KISD” (Cologne International School of Design), at the University of Applied Sciences, Cologne. He has also held lectures at universities in Hong Kong, Sydney and Shanghai. www.be-design.info

Mario Lombardo was born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1972. Since 2000 he has been working as editorial designer and art director for different magazines such as ”Dummy”, ”Page” and “Spex” (till 2006). He teaches at various universities and institutes, and has carried off more than 50 international prizes, including the ”Red Dot Award”, the ”Lead Award” and the ”Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany”. www.mariolombardo.com

Boris Hoppek got active as a graffiti and street artist after he qualified as a tracer. He also made a living as web designer and graphic artist. Today his work includes drawings, modified advertisement bills, carton sculptures and installations. Hoppek is also the creator of the well-known ”Bimbo Dolls” and the ”CMONS”. Dirk Kels studied design at the ”Cologne International School of Design”. He used to be graffiti artist, and is now an associate of the design agency ”Breitbanddesign”. In 1991 he discovered his skills as DJ and Producer. As ”Fangkiebassbeton” he published three albums. His impressions from the music scene are reflected in his design concepts.
