Long time before his communication and graphic design studies Sebastian Klosowski
(1979) already worked as graffiti artist that also can be noticed in his recent mixed media works. Thematically amongst others the Pole by birth deals with the overload of one’s mind (“In my mind”).“Retrocom” shows phone objects on the wallpaper that are similar to stag’s antlers and is a surreal parable that shows on the one hand emotions of well-being in used atmosphere like being at grandma’s and on the other hand the completely atrocious interior of this.

Rebekka Schnorbus "Mitte 08"

Rebekka Schnorbus (1974) medium is writing. From its functionality she reads the difference between understanding and comprehension. Though her art works entirely consist of handwritten texts and structures she prevents the viewer’s approach by mirroring it. For this purpose she fixes sheets of paper behind shelves or lockers and copies the outlines with a pencil or fine liner. Furthermore she leaves the sheets lying around dropping objects of everyday life onto it and fixes them “handwritten”.
